My submission for Indonesia Independence Day logo, commissioned by @kabar.adgi and @bekrafid. Although the designs didn’t get chosen for the final logo, it’s been an honor to be one out of five designers whose designs made it to the final round. ⁣⁣⁣

The foundation for the design is laid on ambigram, a visual element that retains its meanings when viewed from a different direction. ⁣⁣⁣The concept was combined to encourage reconciliation that diffuses political tensions after the divisive election season. Each design submitted was inspired by natural elements: bamboo, fire, and metal. Each of elements’ philosophical values stays true in the logo.
